Arvan has advised Board of Directors, CEOs and other C-level executives of large public and private companies around the world, as well as nonprofits, since 2007 in strategic planning, digital transformation, and international expansion. As an entrepreneur himself, he strongly believes in the principles of entrepreneurship: trying and testing new solutions and innovations, understanding the risks, finding what works best, learning from mistakes, executing and moving on. Mistakes and risks are integral parts of entrepreneurship and those who don't embrace them can't hope to succeed. His goal is to assist founders and corporate clients in bringing new solutions to life.
Most recently, as an officer of the company, Arvan served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of International for Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), a Fortune 25 company with over $150B in revenue that partners with local governments to ensure people receive the highest quality of health and social care through government-sponsored programs. Throughout his tenure at Centene, he held leadership roles in a variety of disciplines, including corporate development, M&A, enterprise strategy, project management, performance & strategic finance, and international operations.
Arvan currently serves on the board for various organizations, including VedaPointe, 9Line Software, and Vivent Health. He is also actively involved in numerous professional, mentoring and social organizations, including Washington University in St. Louis, Arch Grants, and the Alliance by McKinsey & Company. Arvan serves on multiple global health task force teams and is a repeated speaker and discussion leader at the World Economic Forum. He was also honored as Young Global Leader of 2021 by the World Economic Forum, Dean’s Honor by the Olin Business School, Business of Pride Outstanding LGBTQIA+ by the St. Louis Business Journal, 50 Missourians You Should Know by Ingram's, 40 Under 40 by the St. Louis Business Journal, and Olin Emerging Leader by Washington University in St. Louis.
Arvan earned his bachelor's degree in biological science from the University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA), an M.H.A. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis Olin Business School with expertise in healthcare management, finance, and strategy.
